TCC Graduates 41st Class

Tallahassee Community College celebrated its 41st Commencement Ceremony Saturday, April 28 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. The ceremony recognized students who graduated during the Summer 2006, Fall 2006, and Spring 2007 semesters.
Approximately 2,400 students graduated during the three semesters and close to 400 participated in Saturday’s ceremony.
Dr. Elisabeth Stein, the longest tenured faculty member at TCC, served as the keynote speaker for the event. Dr. Stein, a Humanities professor, is nearing completion of her 34th year at the College.
Students were also treated to remarks from TCC President Bill Law; Lori Prudom, Faculty Senate Chair; Dr. Barbara Sloan, Vice President of Academic Affairs; and student speaker Carolyn King
