TCC Career Services Hosts Fall Career Expo

"Businesses who want to attract the best and brightest will be impressed with the candidate pool at the TCC Career Expo,” said Felicia Williams from the TCC Career Service Center. Area businesses interested in meeting excellent prospective employees are encouraged to sign up for the expo immediately.

TCC's Career Center will host the College's Fall 2008 Career Expo on Thursday, October 16, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the TCC Student Union Ballroom. Connecting the college experience to the business and corporate world beyond is a key component of the Career Expo.

TCC students, alumni and members of the community are invited to attend the upcoming Career Expo. Participants will bring along resumes and expectations of making connections and finding an internship, part-time or full-time job.

Cumulus Media is joining the fair for the second time this year and will be recruiting interns as well as directing students to their new Cumulus Jobs Web site. WORKFORCE plus is bringing its mobile office, which is equipped with a 12 station Internet connected classroom and equipment for another 15 stations outside. Both of these companies seek to connect motivated job seekers with career advancing employment.
