African American History Calendar Accepting Nominations

Tallahassee Community College's African-American History Month Planning Committee is now accepting nominations for the annual African-American History Calendar.

The individual nominated must have made significant contributions in Leon and/or surrounding counties. As the nominator, TCC requests that you download a nomination form and return by mail or complete one online.

The African-American History Month Planning Committee will screen the nominations and select the individuals to be honored in the 2009 African-American History Calendar.

The deadline for nominations is October 8, 2008, at midnight. Tallahassee Community College's annual African-American History Month Calendar Unveiling Ceremony is planned for January 26, 2009.
