Alumni Association Issues Distinguished Alumni Awards Call for Nominations

The TCC Alumni Association has issued a Call for Nominations for the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Awards. The Distinguished Alumni Award was established to recognize and honor alumni of Tallahassee Community College (or Tallahassee Junior College) who have achieved significant recognition for their professional accomplishments; contributions to the betterment of the community, region, state or nation; or outstanding community leadership, service or philanthropy. Preference is given to those who have received a degree or certificate from TCC.

Nominations are due no later than October 15, 2008. Recipients will be selected and notified no later than December 1, and an awards ceremony will be held on February 19, 2009 at TCC at 7:00 pm.
