On Wednesday, May 7^th, thirteen local "celebrities" came together for a friendly competition of comedic talent to raise funds for the educational programs of the Challenger Learning Center.  Each celebrity performed a three-to-five-minute stand-up comedy routine under the bright spotlight of The Comedy Zone. The sold-out audience then voted on who they thought should be crowned Celebrity Comic Champion.  Tallahassee Fire Chief Cindy Dick walked away with the coveted prize.  She beat out tough competition from Chucha Barber, Sheriff Larry Campbell, Commissioner John Dailey, Commissioner Ed DePuy, Property Appraiser Bert Hartsfield, Janet Hinkle, Elise Judelle, Bill Montford, Frank Ranicky, Sean Shaw, Norm Thagard and Steve Uhlfelder.
