The Tallahassee Community College Fine Art Gallery will unveil “Story Art,” a K-12 Student Art Exhibit, on May 12.
The exhibit is in conjunction with Florida State University's Story Project and is the culmination of a K-12 art and story-telling project with schools in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla Counties. The art display exemplifies a range of narrative art created in a variety of media.
Included in the works are quilts, fiber art, painting and photography.
To celebrate the exhibit, the TCC Fine Art Gallery will honor the exhibit's contributors during a public reception on May 23 from 4-6 p.m.
The exhibit will be on display at TCC through June 6.
The Fine Art Gallery is open from noon to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Admission is free. The Fine Art Gallery is located in the Fine & Performing Arts Center at Tallahassee Community College.
