Bert Hartsfield is Leon County's Property Appraiser. He has achieved status as both a Certified Florida Evaluator and Certified Florida Appraiser, designations deemed by the Department of Revenue as the highest certifications in property assessment. He has been recognized with multiple awards through work and has an active career of service to the community. Hartsfield has been awarded the International Association of Assessing Officers 1996 Distinguished Assessment Jurisdiction award and International Association of Assessing Officers 1996 Public Information Award.
