Interested in meeting other TCC graduates and working together to support TCC? Serve on an Alumni Association committee! Most committees meet quarterly on weekdays, either at TCC or by conference call, and dates/times are flexible to accommodate the schedules of as many committee members as possible.
Bylaws—Reviews the Bylaws for accuracy and submits recommendations to the Board.
Communications—Highlights the accomplishments of TCC alumni and the Alumni Association using internal and external media.
Finance & Resource Development—Develops the Association's budget; conducts fundraising to support the Association.
Graduation—Keeps track of TCC's graduation and pinning ceremonies, coordinates representation by the Alumni Board and membership.
Membership—Recruit alumni and expand membership using personal contacts, correspondence and special events.
Phonathon—Plans and implements the Alumni Membership Phonathon (September/October).
Programs—Plans, develops and implements programs for alumni and students.
Recognition & Scholarship—Plans and implements the Association's Distinguished Alumni and Hall of Fame programs; recognizes scholarship recipients.
Special Events—Organizes and implements events of the Alumni Association. (Meets more than quarterly, but has a lot of fun!)
Student Relations—Promotes goodwill and interaction between alumni and students.
