The Tallahassee Community College Alumni Association
• The mission of the Association is to serve as liaison between the College and its alumni to promote support for TCC and excellence in education.
• The Alumni Association began in 1996 and is part of the TCC Foundation, which generates funds for student scholarships and College programs.
• The Association established an endowment in 1999 from which scholarships are awarded to returning students each year.
• A
Brick Program is an important program of the Association, and alumni and friends can purchase an inscribed brick in their own names or to honor a loved one to be placed in the Circle of Remembrance in the heart of campus. Seventy five percent of the price of each brick supports the scholarship program, of which 100% is eligible funds for matching funds by the Florida Legislature.
• The Association sponsors the Alumni Hall of Fame in the Student Union, which also includes a special tribute to alumni on the TCC faculty and staff.
• The Soaring Eagle is the Association's newsletter for and about TCC alumni.
